"Change is the only constant in life”
This quote by the Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, is one I have experienced and know to be true. I have built my law practice with this in mind and wish to help my clients through their moments of change.
Growing up on Cape Breton Island, my moment of change was the decision to attend University of Toronto. After graduating with a commerce degree, my career started with a stint at an international bank as a commercial account manager. I then transitioned to business consulting at an international consulting firm and stayed for several years before making a career move to law. I have been practising law for over a decade. Presently I split my time between practicing and teaching law (at University of Ottawa and Lakehead University). Throughout my career, I have worked with many wonderful colleagues, students and clients... a benefit of constant change.
